FEDERAL COURTS TELLS POSTMASTER, LOUIS DEJOY TO SPEED UP THE MAIL!

The U. S. Postal Service is one of the most trusted institution in America and will play an especially important role in the 2020 election. As former President of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 53 Jacksonville, I can assure you, proud Letter Carriers of this country are committed and look forward to the volume of election mail in the November’s election.

In an effort to keep everyone informed concerning vote-by-mail ballots in Duval County and the state of Florida, I’ve invited a good friend of mine for the past forty years to attend the October 6th, Duval County Democratic Black Caucus Zoom meeting.

Florida’s State President of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), Al Friedman will be our guest speaker, along with National Business Agent of the American Postal Workers Union (APWU), Doris Orr Richardson.  They will give us the latest information as to: what is true, or not true coming out of Washington D.C., vote-by-mail ballots, the status of mail sorting machines in Florida, the latest court decision instructing Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy cease and desist slow-down of mail, and to treat election mail as FIRST CLASS.  In addition, we will have Mike Hogan, Duval County Supervisor of Election monthly report from Attorney, Leslie Scott Jean Bart. There will be a Q and A session from members and Channel 47, Courtney Cole.

To hear the latest vote-by-mail information October 6th, join Duval County Democratic Black Caucus.
